Purpose of the Committee
To allow tenants the opportunity to provide feedback on policies that effect tenancy.
To provide support to tenants through social interaction, beautification projects, holiday projects and welcome baskets for new tenants.
To provide neighborhood/community relations through safety education and block watch information.
CHN Employment Advisory Council
The vision is to promote employment of Community Housing Network tenants by providing guidance on the development of techniques and training that can be used by the employment team to empower, motivate, prepare and assist tenants to take personal responsibility to obtain and sustain employment and volunteer positions, while at the same time assisting CHN to secure strategic partnerships with employers and community agencies who can provide career opportunities for the population CHN serves.
