  • The Employment Center celebrated its first graduation ceremony at Fifth Avenue. Six tenants with our community celebrated for their outstanding accomplishments. They were given certificates for their dedication to the Front Desk Mobility Training. Mike Tynan, Supportive Housing Director for CHN was the guest speaker. Mike gave an encouraging speech about overcoming life challenges by staying focused and committed to change. The employment teams continual purpose is to raise our tenants' self-reliance and to let them know who extraordinary they really are. We were also appreciative to see the CHN family and friends come out to support The Employment Center. This year we plan to persist in supporting our tenants by reaching out to them in every way we possibly can. The employment team principal focus is to meet tenants where they are no matter what walk of life you came from. Our next Front Desk Mobile Security training is starting on July 14th. Please call 917-1016 if you are interested in participating.
