Employment Program

Community Housing Network's Employment Center matches motivated job seekers with top organizations in Franklin County. The center is working toward helping residents in CHN housing while fulfilling the hiring needs of area businesses. The Stages of Change Model, developed by James Prochaska and Carlo DiClemente, is utilized to educate, motivate and prepare tenants for the workplace environment in order to earn livable wages.

Track record of success

Many CHN residents are available for part- and full-time entry-level positions, as well as short-term projects. CHN's Temp-to-Perm Program enables employers to assess the performance of recently-hired employees. Since the program's inception in 2000, full-time placements have maintained employment for an average of six months to a year. However, many have maintained full-time employment for longer periods of time.
